Once he brought an injured barn owl that was mostly recovered into the class for us to see and let him sit on the (real) human skeleton display he had in the classroom. At one point even though we were all very quiet the owl got startled and flew around the classroom. Amazingly for a classroom full of teenagers we were dead silent so the owl wouldn't be more startled, at one point it flew a few feet over my head and I never would have known it if not for the wind! The owl itself was completely silent.

The voyager missions also had different objectives. They were sightseeing on their way out. If we really wanted something to move out into the Oort cloud asap, it wouldn't be taking a tour of several planets before leaving.
