I got carded at a When Words Fall Music Speaks Shirt casino, with a hat on. I was like "before I do... How old do you THINK I am?" I found it funny and wasn't upset. He replied "under 20" so I removed my hat to show my mostly bald head. I asked again, he gave the same answer. Made me feel pretty decent as a 30+ bald guy... Showed my ID and he took a minute cause I'd lost a bunch of weight and let me pass. I once had a cashier take my ID and put in the register because she was convinced that it was fake. She barely even looked at my ID, she just said there wasn't anything I could say to make her believe I was 18. Technically she was right because I was 19 and had been buying cigs at that store since my 18th b-day. She called the cops and I was kinda stuck because she wouldn't give back my "fake" ID. Luckily the owner walked in and recognized me, gave me back my ID, and let me take the cigs and my drink for free to make up for the hassle. The cops pulled into the parking lot as I was pulling out and I'm pretty sure that cashier got fired because I never saw her again. Yea I mean I get that - And at 33 I still look pretty young but rarely get carded anymore. When I do get carded the server and/or cashier always says something like "Sorry, could I just see your ID" or something along those lines in like a kinda sort of passive voice...And to me, it's like "uh yea sure, it's your job... What does it cost me 10 seconds of my time, to show you something I should probably have on me at all times anyway [at least where I live when you mostly drive everywhere]. I guess the big difference is that Paul McCartney is British, but Seinfeld did manage to shoehorn in Keith Hernandez,
