We ran out of headcovers and shoe covers day 3 and they brought us plastic shower caps as a replacement. When we poured the sweat out of it into Dixie cups, the decision was made to forgo the head coverings altogether. Basically, we lost items of our PPE progressively throughout the deployment. All you need is an N95 a face shield and a gown, plus gloves and good practice after shift and you'll be fine. When I wore the plastic isolation gowns and PPE for patient care I would walk out dripping. Usually not like this. But I worked bedside provide and never had to wear my PPE for a full shift. But I can confirm that I sweat like a pig and feel like you are inside a sausage casing.
