 The previous owner's Hocus Pocus I Need Insulin To Focus Halloween Shirt of my house thought it would be a fabulous idea to plant extremely spiky climbing roses all along the front wall of the house. They grow up and curl their tendrils around the gutters, the power wire, into the roof. When you trim them back you get scratches all over from the thorns. I've been trying to remove the bloody things since I moved here but so far they seem resistant to all poisons and grow back from the tiniest stump. I can't grind them out as the roots go way under the slab foundation. Flowers look pretty for a bit in spring though, I guess.
