Coffee drinker Cat Coffee Spelled Backwards Is Eeffoc Just Know That I Don’t Give Eeffoc Until I've Had My Coffee Vintage Retro Shirt here. Drink it black because I like the taste. I’m no fancy purist, I will drink most of anything as long as it isn’t TOO diluted. Have no problem with most sold in regular stores and have never bought a “fancy” brand. In terms of the energy rush- it does absolutely nothing for me. I don’t “need my coffee” to start my day, I just enjoy the taste and in fact, have reduced my consumption to one cup every other day. I like these little tiny Ethiopian beans that have a wonderful nutty taste to them. But a good Kona is a completely different experience. The generic stuff like Folgers definitely sucks and requires sugar and cream. My tobacco shop sells good coffee, I've got this Costa Rican* and Kenyan at work by god it's better than real deal Kona and Jamaican Blue for me. Don't get me wrong, they are amazing but its too light. Fun fact, higher quality beans that are super artisan have a whole lot less bitter than say Starbucks beans. I totally recommend getting like a small package of single-origin from the grocery store (the whole bean but if you don’t have a grinder pre-ground is still good) It’s really nice. I find bitter foods extremely bitter, more than other people. Not sure I'd call myself a supertaster but it definitely feels that way sometimes. I use more salt than other people too, which I think might be a component of it. To me bitter just tastes awful, I can't enjoy the flavors at all, they're just lost in the disgust. But the unpopular opinion is that the smell is better than the taste. That is usually true of bad coffee and good coffee. The Aroma is almost always intoxicating in the morning. The taste can be hit or miss depending on if I prepared it correctly. I would think saying the smell is better than the taste is a relatively popular opinion. I am addicted to taste, it's a way to stave off boredom. Coffee is great because I can sip it all day without fear of calorie intake. Coffee paired with sugar is just amazing, if ever I want to absolutely enjoy a cup of coffee, will have one with a piece of cake or a cookie. It's just perfect.
